Description:

A woman divorced and remarried, and the ex-husband continuously changed his old houses temperature via a wireless thermostat for revenge.

Our group used the AEIOU design method to define our problem before attempting to brainstorm solutions:

After we had identified as many of the characteristics surrounding the overarching problem as possible, we then began to write out a list of the actual problems we felt were associated or at least help lead to the problem at hand.

We decided that on solution to our problem was adding an activity log to the Honey Well thermostat in question that would denotes which user changed the temperature at what times. Attempting to make it user friendly.
